The Importance of Making a Will

Many of us will have seen or read the latest news from the BBC regarding the importance of making a Will and the heartache and suffering that can be caused by dying intestate (without a Will).  Statistics say that 7 in every 10 people in the UK do not have a Will.

Where There’s a Will …

Nobody looks forward to writing a will but it is one of the most important acts of financial planning you will probably ever undertake. 

Whatever the size of your estate, it is always important to make a will.  If someone passes away who has not made a Will, their estate will be distributed in accordance with the Intestacy Rules, which may mean some members of their family they would have liked to inherit receive nothing.  Read the rest of this entry »
