Be in time with your claim – don’t miss out!

You may or may not be aware that there are strict time limits on bringing a claim for personal injury compensation. 

The general position is that you must have either settled your claim for personal injury compensation or have started court proceedings in respect of that claim on or before the third anniversary of the incident that caused your injuries.  This is known as the limitation period.   If the third anniversary of the incident that caused your injuries passes without your claim being settled or court proceedings commenced then your claim will become what is known in technical terms as “statute barred”.
