HilliersHRW staff raise 1067 (GBP) pounds for Leukaemia and Lymphona Research.

Every year, staff at HilliersHRW Solicitors organise a project to raise funds for a designated charity.

Last year, one of their employees was made aware of a local boy, Jack Burnett, from Bromham who had become ill and diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in July 2007 when he was just four and a half. As a result, Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research was chosen for 2009.

Staff at HilliersHRW raised the sum of £1,067 throughout the year and were delighted that Jack was able to come down to their offices in Kempston to receive the cheque on behalf of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.

Jack, now aged 7, attends Polam Oaks School in Bedford. Jack is in remission and is due to finish his treatment in September of this year. .
