Injuries to the head and brain can range from very minor subtle brain injuries where symptoms are minimal and sometimes hardly noticeable, through to very severe with a wide range of serious symptoms depending upon the type of trauma sustained and the area(s) of the brain involved leading to significant disability.

When a brain injury has occurred it is important to seek immediate specialist medical attention as prompt treatment can sometimes minimise the severity and affects of the injury sustained. Early rehabilitation is also an important factor in helping the injured person to be as independent as they can be.

Our team of specialist lawyers here at HilliersHRW Solicitors LLP are here to help you through every stage of the claims process including engaging with different treatment providers, rehabilitation experts, equipment specialists and care providers.  The injured person may no longer be able to live independently in their former home without adaptations.  They may also require care whether it be for a few hours a day or week through to 24 hour care. Whatever the needs of the injured person we are able to help.

If you know someone who has suffered a head and/or brain injury at any time during the last three years* in an incident that was someone else’s fault and wish to discuss the possibility of making a claim please contact us on 01234 858000 (Kempston) or 01438 346000 (Stevenage) and ask to speak to Julie McCallion or Selina Martin, or use our on-line claim enquiry form.

Note*: If the injured person no longer has capacity then the three year period will only start to run should the injured person regain capacity.
