If you have been injured as the result of violent crime then you may be able to make a claim for compensation to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA).

Our expert team at HilliersHRW Solicitors LLP can help you with the claim process from completing the application form and liaising with CICA on your behalf until your claim is concluded and you receive compensation.

CICA do not pay any legal costs in connection with claims made to them. Therefore we would require you to enter into a Contingency Agreement Arrangement with us for the legal advice and help we provide and you agree to pay us a fixed percentage of the compensation awarded to you as a contribution towards your legal costs.  You will know what the fixed percentage is from the outset.  In almost all cases, the legal costs incurred will exceed the contribution you pay to us, but we agree to limit our costs to the fixed percentage agreed at the outset.

If you feel that you do not require any advice or assistance in making your claim for compensation to CICA, you can apply to them direct by completing the CICA on-line form whereafter they will deal with you directly in relation to your claim. If you require any advice or assistance in this regard, please do not hesitate to contact one of our experienced personal injury lawyers who will be happy to assist.
